IV. FINDINGS

The interpretation of the information gathered, provided data that needed to be organized, as well as classified. In this manner, the level of knowledge in the community, about a water treatment plant was assessed; and later, their knowledge in the treated water's uses - namely for plant irrigation and industrial services-.

A second finding gave way to clarify the benefits Tijuana would enjoy if these waters were to be treated; since 97.2% of the people consider it beneficial.

In response to the issue of water sufficiency in Tijuana, its scarcity was revealed; being that 87.1% mentioned its apparent scarcity in the city. In addition to this, a third finding was the fact that this perception was more clear among women rather than in men surveyed.

There were important findings with relation to the construction, and so, in the necessity of a water treatment plant; in addition, the people surveyed, see the support they would give for the installation of such a plant as plausible.
